Maccheroncini with traditional meat sauce

Ingredients

serves 4

300 gr ground meat (a mix of beef, chicken and pork)
300 gr beef bones
500 gr stewed tomatoes
50 gr grated Parmesan or Pecorino cheese
3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
½ cup white wine
1 carrot
1 celery branch
1 onion
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Sautè lightly chopped onion in extra virgin olive oil and then add chopped carrot and celery.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add beef bones and ground meat. Brown well and add white wine. When the wine has evaporated add tomatoes.
Cook over medium heat for approximately two hours. Remove the beef bones and if desired season with fresh basil. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
